Krissie Edwards is the Founder and Artistic Director of Divinity. She is originally from Columbia, South Carolina where she trained at Southern Strutt under the direction of Nancy Giles. After graduating high school, she continued her education at the University of South Carolina and Weber State, earning her degree in Criminal Law. While attending USC, she started her teaching career at Southern Strutt. In 2002, she relocated to Salt Lake City. She was the Company Coordinator at The Winner School from 2004-2010. She currently teaches at Dance Impressions in Farmington.
Krissie has been a guest teacher and choreographer around the country working with studios, high school dance teams and college dance teams including the USC Carolina Girls and the 16 time national champion BYU Cougarettes. She recently choreographed a music video with recording artist, Kenzie Nimmo, and was the assistant producer for the dance film "Inside (this soul)" with Loren Picciarelli and Mark Evans.
Her greatest accomplishment to date is being a mother to her two children, Taylor and Brooks.
